Rules of Poker

For each hand of poker players try to get combinations of 5 cards of most value, and perform a series of bets and raises (ie higher than the previous episodes).
The purpose of each hand is obviously to win the pot, ie the set of all coins bet on that hand, this can be achieved:
showing the best combination at the end of the stakes;
having made a bet that no player was willing to “see”.

The aim of the game is obviously to win as many chips as possible.
Now let’s see how it performs schematically a hand of poker:
The players put in a small pot previously agreed fixed sum. In fact, it is customary to play draw poker with the “invitation” that a certain number of chips that the player pays before any other hand to enter the game. The system of the call is not mandatory, however, and can be replaced by the system of “darkness” and “blind”.

At this point, the dealer deals 5 cards each, one at a time and clockwise from player to his left. Unless otherwise specified, the next episodes will never be higher than the one at that time in the pot.
Received the cards that a player will need to open, but to do so must have at least a Pair of Jacks (Jacks or Better), or something higher.

At this point begins the first betting round, players who have at least one pair of Jack must necessarily pass, or “check”, but remains in play, otherwise you can also choose to open, or to make a bet of at least the value of the minimum bet of that time without exceeding the value of the pot.

If any player has opened, the following may choose to “pass”, “see” or “revive” Who goes folds, and whoever sees it’s up to the player who opened his putting the same amount of chips, and who sees the player raises the bet, which opened adding a further quantity of chips, not to exceed the value of the pot. This phase of the game ends when everyone has seen the last bet or raise and there are no other bids.

After the first round of betting for players still in the game proceeds to a draw. Each player can choose to change some of their cards, anywhere up to all five, replaced by the dealer, starting with the player who opened and continuing clockwise. In Italy it is customary to change up to a maximum of 4 cards, but it is only a local custom. If the deck end, the dealer shuffles the discard by the players, and uses that to continue the game.

Now begins the second round of betting for players left in the game. The opener at this point may choose not to make any bets (“check”) or you wager a maximum value of the pot ul. Subsequent players, in clockwise direction, can now choose whether to: go, ie abandon the hand, see, or get the height of the last bet made; rilnciare, the last bet or raise. After each revival players who previously had already “seen” can go (out of the hand), see again (by adjusting their bet the figure proposed by those who have raised) or raise in turn. If no one bets to proceed to the next phase, ie the allocation of the pot.

Once the betting rounds, when all “see” without further raises, we proceed to the showdown, in order to determine the player with the best high hand wins the pot. The last player who made a bet finds out his 5 cards, declaring combinations that scored, then meet with the players they have seen, one at a time clockwise. Players who are faced with an opponent who has discovered a stronger hand of them, may decide to grant the pot without showing his cards, this is to give the opponents less information as possible on your game. In case you have combinations of 5 cards of the same (eg same scale) will proceed to divide the pot among the players concerned.
